Steve Thompson

Steve Thompson is an experienced academic and administrator currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Tennessee State University since May 2021 and as the Assistant Vice President for the Institute for Public Service at the University of Tennessee since July 2012. Thompson holds a Ph.D. in Political Science, specializing in Public Administration and American Government, from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Additionally, an MPA with a focus on Local Government was earned from the University of South Carolina, and a BA in Political Science was obtained from the College of Charleston.
