Cole Camplese

Cole Camplese currently serves as the Vice President for Technology and Chief Information Officer at The University of Texas at Austin, a position held since March 2024. As the founder of Camplese Media since September 2011, Cole has also held significant leadership roles, including Vice President and CIO at Northeastern University from July 2018 to September 2023, Associate Vice President and CIO at The University of Chicago from September 2015 to June 2018, and Vice President for Information Technology and CIO at Stony Brook University from August 2013 to September 2015. Prior to these roles, Cole spent 15 years at Penn State University in various capacities, culminating in leadership of the Center for Online Innovations in Learning. Cole holds a B.A. in Psychology from West Virginia University and two Master's degrees in Instructional Technology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
