Gia Doonan

Gia Doonan is an accomplished athlete and coach with extensive experience in rowing. Currently serving as an Assistant Rowing Coach at The University of Texas at Austin since October 2021, Gia played a key role in leading the team to become the 2022 National Champions. As a highly competitive national team athlete with US Rowing since June 2017, Gia has achieved significant accolades, including a bronze medal in the Women's 8 event at the 2019 World Championships and multiple gold medals at various championships. In addition to coaching, Gia has expertise in social media coordination and has contributed to personal training and managing rowing clinics. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin (2013-2017), Gia also has a strong foundation from Tabor Academy (2009-2013).
