Jeanne Kowalski is a Professor and Associate Director of Cancer Clinical Genomics at The University of Texas at Austin since February 2019, leading cancer research in clinical grade sequencing and developing workflows for integrating sequencing in cancer treatment. Previously, Jeanne served as Associate Professor and Founding Director of the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Shared Resource at Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health from September 2010 to January 2019, where efforts resulted in NCI-designation for the Winship Cancer Institute. Jeanne's earlier roles at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine included both Associate and Assistant Professor positions, providing biostatistics and bioinformatics support to the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. Educational credentials include a Postdoctoral Fellowship from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a PhD and MS in Statistics from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BA in Mathematics from Chatham University.
