Kit Hammond

Kit Hammond is an experienced IT Support Specialist III at The University of Texas at Dallas, responsible for supporting conference room AV and videoconferencing and managing the Carousel Digital Signage Platform. Previously, Kit held various roles at JCPenney, including Sr. Manager of Technology Strategy & Operations, where responsibilities included planning AV infrastructure upgrades and staff development, and Communication Manager, overseeing media asset management and video conference technology. Experience also includes freelance video production and technical consulting, as well as leadership positions at MCI Telecommunications Corporation, Farmers Branch Public Library, and Iowa State University, focusing on multimedia production and A/V support. Kit holds a BA in Speech Communications from Iowa State University and attended The University of Texas at Austin for graduate studies in Radio-TV-Film.
