Brian McNamara

Brian McNamara currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Academic Resource Management at The University of Texas at San Antonio, a position held since July 2022. Previously, Brian worked at Louisiana State University for over a decade, where roles included Adjunct Instructor and Assistant Dean (CFO) for Budget and Finance. Brian's expertise encompasses strategic leadership in financial operations for a college budget of around $40 million and participation in the Workday ERP implementation. Additional experience includes business development consulting for a start-up and internships in financial advising. Brian holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Christian Brothers University.
