Russell Wagner

Russell Wagner is currently the Assistant Vice President of Alumni Engagement at The University of Texas at San Antonio, where responsibilities include acting as the primary liaison for the UTSA Alumni Association Board and providing visionary leadership for alumni engagement. Prior to this role, Russell served as the Executive Director of Alumni Engagement at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi from May 2008 to February 2023, overseeing alumni relations, community engagement, and financial support initiatives. Additional positions held at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi include Director of Development for the College of Liberal Arts and Admissions Counselor, where Russell managed enrollment-related efforts and fostered alumni relations. Russell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and a Master of Arts in Public Relations from Kent State University.
