Ferran Prat

Ferran Prat is the SVP of Strategic Industry Ventures at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Oncology & Women's Health at Alere from 2010 to 2011, and as the General Manager of Alere Brazil from 2011 to 2013. From 2007 to 2010, they were the VP of Oncology at Inverness Medical, and prior to that they were the VP of Licensing at Biosite Incorporated from 2001 to 2007. Before joining the private sector, Ferran worked as an Associate at McKinsey & Co. from 1999 to 2001.

Ferran Prat graduated from the Universitat Ramon Llull with a B.S. in chemical engineering. Ferran then went on to earn their J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law. Finally, they earned their Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles.
