Ahmed Alzahabi

Ahmed Alzahabi, Ph.D., is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in Petroleum Engineering. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas System, Ahmed has previously held positions as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Texas - Permian Basin and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Houston, where engagement with the UH Energy Industrial Partnerships facilitated collaboration with industry leaders. Ahmed's extensive teaching experience includes roles as a teaching assistant at The British University in Egypt and the American University in Cairo, as well as instructional positions with Oil and Gas Skills. Ahmed holds a Post Doctorate from the University of Houston, a Ph.D. and a Master's degree from Texas Tech University, and an MSc from Cairo University. Recent completion of a Data Science certificate from Stanford University complements Ahmed's technical proficiency in the energy sector.
