Angel Guido Hita

Angel Guido Hita, MD, MPH, serves as an Oncology Emergency Medicine Physician at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center since September 2013, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of oncologic emergencies. Concurrently, Angel holds an Assistant Professor position within the Department of Emergency Medicine and General Internal Medicine at The University of Texas System and advises the RICE University Department of Bio-Engineering. Previous experience includes roles as a Case Reviewer at CMC Physicians, a Hospitalist at IPC The Hospitalist Company, Inc., and an Officer in Charge of Preventive and Occupational Medicine in the United States Air Force. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, a Master's degree in Public Health from the Medical College of Wisconsin, and postgraduate studies in Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, along with postgraduate education in Hospice and Palliative Medicine Care from the University of Texas- MD Anderson Cancer Center.
