Laura Burton

Laura Burton is an experienced professional in development and marketing, currently serving as Senior Development Manager for Trusts and Foundations at The University of Western Australia since January 2013. In addition to this role, Laura is the Chair of the Trusts and Foundations Higher Education Professionals Network and has previously held positions such as Development Manager and Acting Senior Development Manager. Laura also runs an abstract art practice, Laura Burton Art, launched in January 2021. Prior to these roles, Laura worked as an Events & Marketing Coordinator at Interpeople and held various positions in student recruitment and hospitality management, including roles with The Manchester Metropolitan University and Manchester United. Laura holds a 1st Class BA Honours degree in Events Management from The Manchester Metropolitan University, completed in 2009.
