Jorge Mascarenhas is the Director at The Up Group. Jorge has over 10 years of experience in strategy and business development.
Mascarenhas started their career at Citi Group as the Strategy and Business Planning manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Jorge then moved to Statkraft where they were responsible for strategy and business development for the company. In 2011, they joined O2 (Telefónica UK) as the Head of Customer Experience. Jorge was responsible for defining, measuring, and improving the customer experience in a complex multichannel/multifunctional environment. In 2017, they joined Egon Zehnder as a leadership consultant.
Mascarenhas has also been a trainer at Animas Centre for Coaching since 2021 and has been teaching the C-Suite how to coach effectively.
After completing their undergraduate studies in Economics at the Nova School of Business and Economics, Jorge Mascarenhas pursued a Master's Degree in Finance at the ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. Jorge then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Cambridge.
Mascarenhas is also a certified coach, having completed a Diploma in Coaching Supervision from the Animas Centre for Coaching, as well as a Diploma in Transformational Coaching and a Certificate in Group Coaching from the same institution. Jorge also holds certifications from the International Centre for Coaching Supervision, the Hogan Assessment Systems, and the Accredited Certificate in Group Coaching and Facilitation from the Animas Centre for Coaching.
