Lydia Shepherd

Lydia Shepherd is the Director at The Up Group. Lydia has over ten years of experience in executive search and recruitment, specializing in technology and digital roles.

Lydia started their career as an Analyst at Citigroup before moving to Latitude Executive Consulting as a Consultant. In this role, they worked with clients to find the best executive candidates for their businesses.

In 2012, they joined Norman Broadbent Group as the CIO Practice Lead & Consultant for Technology & Digital. In this role, they were responsible for managing the CIO/CTO practice and delivering transformation roles for a variety of businesses.

In 2016, they left Norman Broadbent Group to start their own business, Candela Search. Candela Search is a boutique recruitment business that helps businesses find technology and digital leaders. Shepherd was responsible for driving revenue in the UK and operationalizing the business.

Shepherd has a proven track record in executive search and recruitment. Lydia is an expert in finding the best candidates for technology and digital roles.

Lydia Shepherd attended the University of Oxford, where they studied archaeology and anthropology. Lydia previously attended Chetham's School of Music, where they obtained four A levels, and Withington Girls' School, where they achieved ten GCSEs at grades A*/A.
