Niekie Jansen

Niekie is a Director at The Up Group and is based out of Amsterdam. Niekie is a sparring partner for companies in varying stages of digital transformation and growth and offers advice on how to attract the new generation of digital leaders. Her most important quality is her ability to help clients look at the kind of leadership required, differently. With this, she ensures high-impact and transformative leadership for her clients.

Niekie’s background spans nearly 15 years in search, both at the international executive search bureau Russell Reynolds Associates and Dutch digital boutique firm Newpeople. Since 2008, she has been working on filling a vast array of management, leadership, C-suite and (non-executive) board positions. She works in conjunction with corporates as well as PE-owned portfolio companies and VC backed scale-ups.

Niekie holds both a BSc. and MSc. in Economics for Maastricht University.
