Rhea Patney is an outreach intern at the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center, focusing on maternal mental health and family economic supports through digital communication and HubSpot management. As managing editor for The Vanderbilt Hustler, Rhea has developed strong editorial and leadership skills, complemented by roles as deputy data director, multimedia copy editor, and staff writer. Rhea also serves as an emergency room technician at SSM Health, conducting critical patient assessments and collaborating with healthcare teams. Research roles include assisting in asthma research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and in the CHILL lab at Vanderbilt Peabody College. Rhea's experience extends to leadership in the martial arts community for individuals with special needs through TASKStl and guest writing for Ladue News. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Medicine, Health and Society, and Communication of Science and Technology at Vanderbilt University, Rhea's educational background builds upon a foundation of impactful service and research initiatives.
