Carolina Alencar Costa has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Carolina started their career in 2014 as the Chairwoman and Project Manager for the Global Cultural Transfer Project at FGV, where they organized international student exchanges to promote cultural understanding. In 2016, they worked as a Foreign Trade & Fairs Intern at Câmara de Comércio e Indústria Brasil-Alemanha de São Paulo and later as a Sales Trainee, focusing on membership services.

In 2017, Carolina interned as a Sales Strategy Summer Intern at AHK Argentina and also joined EY as an Advisory and Strategy Consultant. At EY, they worked on mapping operations and identifying managerial gaps, contributed to the development of procedures and strategies for the LATAM Marketing Plan, and engaged in end-to-end digital transformation projects.

Carolina then moved on to UNITRADE - Aduana & Logística in 2018, where they assumed the role of a Business Analyst and Project Manager. In this position, they pioneered quantitative analysis, developed performance analysis reports for multinational clients, and generated significant savings in warehouse expenses.

Most recently, Carolina has joined The Vets as a Business Analyst in 2023, further expanding their expertise in business analysis and project management.

Carolina Alencar Costa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in International Business from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they completed from 2013 to 2017. In 2015, they participated in an academic exchange program at the University of St.Gallen, where they studied Business Administration and Management. Carolina also attended Bifröst University in 2017 for a short course on Sustainable Leadership in the 21st Century. Additionally, in 2016, Carolina completed the GCT - Gloria Project at Universidad de Los Andes, and in 2015, they completed the GCT - EMBS Project at SGH Warsaw School of Economics. Carolina also participated in the GCT - Magellan Project at the University of St.Gallen in 2014.

In terms of additional certifications, Carolina obtained a SQL for Data Science certification from the University of California, Davis in November 2022. In July 2022, they earned a Google Project Management Certificate. Earlier, in April 2022, they obtained a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from the University System of Georgia. In 2020, they completed an "Introdução à Ciência de Dados: Como Contar Histórias com Dados" certification from LinkedIn and a "Liderança com Inteligência Emocional" certification, also from LinkedIn. In 2019, they obtained an Excel 2019 - Gráficos e Dashboards certification from Impacta Tecnologia, and in 2019, they earned an Excel 2016 VBA certification, also from Impacta Tecnologia.
