Samantha Busma

Samantha Busma has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Samantha currently serves as a Regional Sales Manager at The Vets since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Booking Agent Team Lead and Booking Agent at the same company between July 2021 and June 2022.

In 2021, Samantha co-founded the Special Needs Animal Rescue League (SNARL), where they are still actively involved. SNARL's mission is to provide a safe haven for animals with disabilities and find them permanent homes.

From 2018 to 2021, Samantha worked at the Humane Society London & Middlesex. Samantha held the position of Animal Health Coordinator from August 2020 to May 2021 and previously served as an Adoption Counsellor from December 2018 to August 2020.

Samantha was also a Business Owner at TeePaw Creations from January 2016 to January 2021. During this time, they owned and operated the business.

Samantha has prior experience at STAPLES Canada, starting in November 2008. There, they held various roles including Sales Associate, Copy and Print Associate, and Customer Service/Computers Sales Rep. Samantha'stenure at STAPLES Canada lasted until December 2018.

Samantha worked as a Server at Boston Pizza Restaurants LP from November 2014 to June 2015 and as a Copy and Print Associate at STAPLES Canada from February 2013 to May 2013.

Earlier in their career, Samantha worked as a Server at Beverly Golf & Country Club from May 2012 to November 2012 and as an Assembly Line Worker at ZF TRW from May 2010 to August 2012.

Throughout their career, Samantha has gained valuable experience in sales, customer service, animal welfare, and entrepreneurship.

Samantha Busma obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Thanatology from Western University, studying from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued Early Childhood Education and Teaching at Fanshawe College from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, Samantha earned a Certificate in Music and Psychology from Redeemer University, completing their studies from 2010 to 2012.
