Trudy Simpson

Trudy Simpson is an experienced freelance journalist currently working with The Voice Newspaper since April 2014, previously serving in various roles, including as a journalist and mentor from June 2007 to February 2013. Between January and March 2014, Trudy served as the Outreach Volunteer Coordinator for Volunteer Centre Lewisham, where partnerships were developed with organizations to enhance volunteer management. Prior experience includes working as a Training and Development Coordinator at Carewatch Lewisham from May to December 2013, focusing on learning and development strategy, recruitment, and training processes. Trudy holds a Master's degree in Communication for Social and Behaviour Change from the University of the West Indies, along with qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and Lesoco.
