Maya Corrin

Associate Director Of Strategy at The Volcker Alliance

Prior to joining the Volcker Alliance in April 2019, Maya Corrin graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois in December 2018 with a bachelor of science in education and social policy. She now works to support several initiatives in the Alliance’s portfolio.

As an undergraduate, Ms. Corrin spent her time working in the K-12 system as an after-school teacher in Chicago Public Schools and as a summer intern with Mission Graduates, working with students in the San Francisco Unified School District. She also served as a Northwestern University research assistant on a project that studied the diversity impacts of higher education philanthropy.

Ms. Corrin is currently pursuing her master's in public policy at the University of Michigan's Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy while continuing to work for the Volcker Alliance part-time. Ms. Corrin also currently serves as a graduate student intern at the Insitute for College Access & Success (TICAS) promoting college access and affordability in California state policy.
