Alexander Appleton

Alexander Appleton is a member of the research staff at The Voleon Group since September 2019, focusing on advanced research applications. Prior to this role, Alexander served as a graduate student researcher in the Mathematics Department at UC Berkeley from August 2014 to July 2019, culminating in the attainment of a PhD in Mathematics. Earlier experience includes a position as a Werkstudent at Siemens Corporate Technology in June 2010, contributing to a crowd flow simulation tool in Java. Alexander's educational background includes studies at prestigious institutions, with a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, a General Scholar program at Tsinghua University, and extensive mathematics studies at the University of Cambridge.
