David Ducasses

David Ducasses is the current Alberta Chapter President at The VR/AR Association. Prior to this role, David served as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Red Iron Labs from September 2019 to March 2021. In this role, David was responsible for all revenue generation processes and accountable for driving better integration between all revenue-related functions. David also worked with the executive team to transform the company’s vision into a long-term strategy for pioneering new markets and opportunities.

Before joining Red Iron Labs, David served as the Manager of Research & Strategy at Calgary Economic Development from February 2016 to September 2019. In this role, David was responsible for conducting research on various economic development issues and providing recommendations to senior management on how to improve the organization’s strategic direction.

David began their career as a Policy Analyst 1 at the New York State Authorities Budget Office from September 2013 to November 2015. In this role, David was responsible for conducting research on various state authorities and providing recommendations to senior management on how to improve the organization’s budgeting process.

David Ducasses has a Master's Degree in Public Administration - Public Economics & Finance from University at Albany, SUNY. David also has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Marketing from University at Albany, SUNY.
