Neil Sroka is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in grassroots campaigning, public relations, and media strategy. Currently serving as the Communications Officer for Thought Leadership at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation since May 2022, Sroka collaborates closely with President and CEO La June Montgomery Tabron and the executive team to highlight the foundation's impactful work. As a City Council Member for Grosse Pointe Farms since November 2019, Sroka has been actively involved in key committees and played a crucial role in winning a contested council seat through a successful grassroots campaign. Previous roles include Communications Director at PL+US, where Sroka advanced the national campaign for paid leave, and leading communications efforts at Democracy for America and the Progressive Change Campaign Committee. Sroka began a career in political communications with notable positions in the Obama campaign and the U.S. Department of Commerce, backed by a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from The George Washington University and studies at the University of Oxford.
