Elena Cherney

Elena Cherney is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in editorial leadership. Since January 2014, Elena has served as Senior Editor and Head of Standards and Ethics at The Wall Street Journal, while also holding the position of Editor for News Features & Special Projects. Prior to this role, Elena was Managing Editor at The Globe and Mail from July 2009 to January 2014 and served as Editor for The Report on Business. Earlier in Elena's career, a position as a Reporter at The Wall Street Journal spanned from January 2000 to January 2007. Elena holds a degree from Yale University, where studies were completed from 1990 to 1994.
