Jon Blackwell

Jon Blackwell is a seasoned editorial professional with extensive experience in publishing and journalism. Currently serving as a Senior Publishing Editor for The Wall Street Journal since September 2018, Jon previously worked as a Freelance Editor for The New York Times and managed the copy desk as Deputy Managing Editor at New York Daily News. Additional roles include Copy Desk Chief at The Daily, where Jon was instrumental in launching a national daily news publication for tablets, and a decade of experience as a Copy Editor at the New York Post. Jon's career began with reporting positions at various newspapers, including Schenectady Daily Gazette and Trentonian. Jon holds a B.A. in History from Hamilton College.
