Theresa Sotto

Ruth R. Marder Director of Learning & Community Engagement at The Walters Art Museum

Theresa Sotto has a diverse work experience in the art and education sectors. Theresa is currently serving as the Ruth R. Marder Director of Learning & Community Engagement at The Walters Art Museum. Prior to that, they worked at the Hammer Museum as the Associate Director and Assistant Director of Academic Programs, where they oversaw educational initiatives, managed a team of staff, and developed strategic partnerships. Theresa also contributed to the UCLA Arts as part of the Anti-Racism, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Commission, leading a subcommittee focused on training and professional development. Additionally, Theresa has served on the California Partnership Academies Advisory Board, the Los Angeles Digital Literacy Alliance, and the Academy of Art and Technology at Grover Cleveland High School.
