Alayne Birnhak

Alayne Birnhak currently serves as the Associate Director of College Counseling at The Wardlaw + Hartridge School since July 2022, following a role as College Guidance Counselor at Ma'ayanot Yeshiva High School from September 2019 to June 2022. Throughout their career, Alayne has provided comprehensive support to students and families in the college admissions process, including personal statement development and advocacy with college admissions staff. Previous experience includes positions such as Director of Outreach at oneTRUEzone Foundation, Instructor at Northern New Jersey Jewish Academy, and various roles in admissions and recruitment at esteemed educational institutions including Bank Street College of Education, The Jewish Theological Seminary, and Barnard College. Alayne holds advanced degrees and certificates from Teachers College, Columbia University, Gratz College, Harvard University, and Rutgers Law School, with a strong academic foundation in education, law, and Jewish studies.
