Michael Sean Antonis

Michael Sean Antonis is a highly experienced sports medicine physician currently serving as the Team Physician for the Washington Commanders and the Washington Football Team since May 2021 and January 2018, respectively. Additionally, Michael has been affiliated with OrthoVirginia as a sports medicine physician. Michael's previous roles include serving as a Team Physician for DC United and holding various academic and leadership positions at Georgetown University School of Medicine, including Assistant Professor and discussion leader for advanced medical training. In emergency medicine, Michael was the Chairman of the Emergency Department at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center and served in several leadership roles at MedStar Health, including Associate Chief of Clinical Services and Fellowship Director. Michael completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Georgetown University and has extensive educational credentials from multiple institutions.
