Michael Faust

Clinical Executive Director, Washington Physicians Group at Washington Health System

Michael Faust, M.D. joined the senior leadership of Washington Health System in 2021. Prior to assuming the role as clinical executive director for the Washington Physicians Group, Dr. Faust practiced general pediatrics at WHS Washington Pediatrics, a group owned by WHS for over 20 years. There he helped the practice grow from a small, local group of two pediatricians to an award-winning advanced practice of six pediatricians. In 2014, he was instrumental in establishing the Childrens’ Express Care at WHS Washington Hospital and acted as it’s medical director for the first few years. He also formed and led the CARE Center for Family Birth and Women’s Health Neonatal Resuscitation Team from 2015 until 2021, when he accepted his current role with the health system.

Dr. Faust is a native of Washington, PA. He graduated from Trinity High School, earned a B.S. in Biology from Penn State University and his medical doctorate degree from the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center. He completed his pediatrics residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.

While Dr. Faust continues to see patients in his practice, his primary responsibility is helping the employed physicians meet their professional goals while striving to provide great patient care to Washington and the surrounding communities.
