Himanshu Jahagirdar is a Data Scientist and Applied ML Scientist at The Washington Post since April 2024. Previously, Himanshu worked as a Research Assistant at Virginia Tech from January 2022 to April 2024, focusing on AI Security, Deep Learning, Data Valuation, and Model Interpretability, under the mentorship of Dr. Ruoxi Jia. Additionally, Himanshu served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the ECE 6524 Deep Learning course taught by Dr. Jason Xuan. Himanshu holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech (August 2021 - December 2023) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Mumbai (2016 - 2020), along with a High School Diploma in Sciences with Computer Science from Smt Sulochanadevi Singhania School (2014 - 2016).
