Jamie Zega

Jamie Zega is an accomplished multiplatform editor with a diverse background in journalism and media. Currently serving at The Washington Post since June 2018, Jamie has progressed from a multiplatform editing intern to an integral editorial role. Previous editorial leadership includes serving as Editor-in-Chief at the Indiana Daily Student and as a sports editor and page one editor at the same publication. Jamie gained valuable experience as a Dow Jones News Fund News Presentation Intern at The New York Times and as a publication clerk at the Journal of American History. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and History from Indiana University Bloomington, complemented by early experience as a server and correspondent, showcasing a well-rounded foundation in both editorial and customer service roles.
