Jessie Adams

Jessie Adams is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in photography licensing and rights management. Currently serving as the Photo Licensing Editor at The Washington Post since January 2022, Jessie acts as the creative liaison for licensing photography across various departments. Concurrently, Jessie works as an Instructional Assistant at The George Washington University, focusing on the intricacies of rights in publishing within the Master of Professional Studies in Publishing program. Prior roles include Image Rights & Financial Manager and Rights & Licensing Coordinator at Science Magazine from May 2015 to January 2022, where Jessie handled image acquisition and financial management. Jessie’s early career includes positions at MV+A Architects, CRAFT, SPARC, LLC, and an internship at KSJ & Associates, Inc. Jessie holds a Bachelors of Arts in International/Global Studies from UC Santa Barbara and an Associate's degree from Southwestern Community College District.
