Lindsey Underwood is an experienced editor with a strong background in breaking news and features, currently serving as the Breaking News Editor for The Washington Post. Prior roles include Senior Staff Editor and Editor for Smarter Living at The New York Times, as well as Social Media Director at Vogue. Lindsey has also held positions as Social Strategy Editor and Social Media Editor at The New York Times and Slate Magazine, respectively. Lindsey holds a degree in Journalism with a focus on Magazine Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, complemented by foundational education at Neuqua Valley High School.
