Nick Hounsfield

Nick Hounsfield is an experienced professional with a diverse background in healthcare, sports, and environmental advocacy. Currently serving as Director at Arenite Developments and Founder of One Blue World, Nick also holds key roles as Ambassador for Blue Marine Foundation and Founder of The Wave. With a longstanding commitment to promoting mental and physical health through connection with nature, Nick has been instrumental in the development of The Wave, which has aimed to tackle issues of inactivity and social disconnection since its inception in 2010. As a Board Director for Surfing England and Chairman of the Board for UK Sport's International Leadership Programme, Nick contributes to the governance and strategic direction of surfing in the UK. Additionally, Nick has led The Wave Productions, focusing on creative media that highlights surfing's potential for social impact. With previous experience as a Council member for the General Osteopathic Council and significant involvement in GB Surfing, Nick Hounsfield holds a Master of Science in Healthcare from the British School of Osteopathy.
