Weather Product Engineer at The Weather Channel

Adam Dean has extensive experience in the field of weather products and graphics. Adam began their career in 2005 as a Weather Producer at CNN before moving on to The Weather Channel in 2006. At The Weather Channel, Adam worked in various roles, including Graphic Meteorologist, Weather Product Developer, Weather Product Architect, and Sr. Weather Product Architect & AR/IMR Operator. Throughout their tenure, they developed weather products for on-air presentation, created graphics for daily shows, and implemented data from various sources using tools such as TruVu Max, Viz Artist, Python, Excel, Google Sheets, and QGIS. Adam also worked on the development of products for Immersive Mixed Reality using the Unreal Engine. Adam's expertise includes setting up and managing NCAM Augmented Reality presentation, running radar for current weather situations, and implementing long-term graphical solutions for on-air use.

Adam Dean completed their high school education at Stephens County High School from 1998 to 2002. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science Degree in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2006, where they graduated with Highest Honors.
