Jim Gronfein has a long and successful career in media sales and advertising. Jim began their career in 1994 as a Sales and Marketing Executive at New World Entertainment, where they oversaw national television inventory sales and marketing. Jim then joined Fox Corporation in 1996 as a Senior Vice President of Advertiser Sales and Branded Entertainment, where they were responsible for over $1 billion in national television inventory. Jim moved to CBS Television Distribution in 2010, where they served as the Vice President of Media Sales. In this role, they drove revenue generation, developed sales strategies, and negotiated upfront deals and partnerships with major conglomerates. In 2016, Jim joined Entertainment Studios as a Senior Vice President of Advertiser Sales, overseeing the sale of advertising inventory in 35 nationally distributed television programs. Most recently, in 2020, they joined The Weather Channel as the Senior Level Media Executive responsible for the sale of the channel's linear, digital, and OTT properties. Throughout their career, Jim has built strong relationships with media agencies and has consistently achieved financial growth for the organizations they have worked for.
Jim Gronfein attended American University from 1990 to 1994 where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies.
