Kyung Ko

Kyung Ko began their work experience as a Sr. Animator/Designer at Artifact Design, Inc. in December 2010 and held this role until May 2017. From August 2017 to September 2017, they worked as a Motion Graphic Designer at POV Motion Media. They then worked as a Motion Graphic Artist at The Weather Company, an IBM Business from September 2017 to October 2017. In October 2017, they briefly worked as an Animator at Melt Sports/Culinary/Entertainment. Simultaneously, from October 2017 to July 2018, they worked as a Freelance Motion Designer at IBM. In July 2018, they joined The Weather Channel as a UI/UX Designer and transitioned to the role of Sr. Motion Designer in April 2022, where they are currently employed. Additionally, in July 2017, they started working as a Motion Designer at kyungko.com, and are still employed there.

Kyung Ko pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 2001 to 2005, they attended Yonsei University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Environment & Design. Afterward, from 2008 to 2010, Kyung Ko enrolled in the Savannah College of Art and Design and completed a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Motion Media Design.
