Art Director, Digital at The Weather Channel

Susan Collins has over 25 years of experience in the creative industry. Susan is currently working as the Creative Director at Local Now. Prior to this, Susan worked at The Weather Channel as the Art Director, responsible for the creative vision, design, and art direction for Local Now, a new streaming video service. Susan also led the creative vision and branding across TV, mobile, and desktop environments.

Before joining The Weather Channel, Susan was self-employed as a Digital Creative Director, working with various freelance clients and designing websites, logos, and promotional graphics. Susan also had a successful tenure at Turner Broadcasting, where they served as the Creative Director for TBS + TNT Digital Design, responsible for conceptual development, client relations, and directing the creative for both brands' digital presence.

Susan started their career at Delta Air Lines, where they worked as an Advertising Intern. Susan also worked at Curtis 1000 as a Graphic Designer.

Throughout their career, Susan has received multiple awards for their digital design work and has been featured in notable publications such as the New York Times and Forbes magazine.

Susan Collins obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a focus on Advertising from The University of Georgia. Additionally, they obtained a certification in After Effects Kickstart from the School of Motion in December 2018.
