Christopher Poitras

Christopher Poitras has a vast experience in meteorology, working at The Weather Network, Newfound News, Wx Centre, and completing various meteorology internships. During their time at these companies, Christopher was responsible for creating, monitoring, and updating forecasts for multiple locations across Canada, analyzing raw weather data, and creating forecast products and graphics. Christopher also shadowed a weather expert at Global News in broadcast meteorology. Christopher holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography with a concentration in Weather Broadcasting and a minor in Meteorology, as well as a Certificate of Achievement in Weather Forecasting and a Master's degree in Numerical Weather Prediction.
