Sam Fragoso

Sam Fragoso is an experienced media professional with a strong background in film criticism and journalism. As the host of the weekly podcast Talk Easy since April 2016, Sam engages in intimate discussions with a diverse range of guests. Sam founded and serves as the editor-in-chief of Movie Mezzanine, overseeing content for a team of over 40 writers. Additional roles include features writer at RogerEbert.com, A&E reporter for SF Bay, and editorial writer for The Week, along with contributions to various film outlets such as Indiewire and Film School Rejects. Sam's early work includes a film critic position at Fan the Fire Magazine and ownership of the blog Duke & The Movies. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from San Francisco State University, earned between 2013 and 2017.
