Andrew Sweetman

Andrew Sweetman serves as the Regional Finance Director for Weir Esco, part of The Weir Group PLC, overseeing financial operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia since May 2014. Previously, Sweetman held roles including Divisional Assistant Controller and Global Process Owner at Weir Minerals, focusing on financial planning, SAP deployment, and process improvement across multiple regions. Earlier experience as Group Senior Internal Auditor at The Weir Group involved executing internal audits globally, while tenure at Ernst & Young encompassed assurance services for manufacturing and aviation sectors. Sweetman is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Master of Engineering degree from Durham University.
