John Hailey

John Hailey has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Systems and Technology Transformation. John started their career as a Developer/Business Analyst at People Telecom in 2006 and later moved on to become a Senior Developer/Project Manager. In 2014, John joined The Weir Group PLC as a Divisional Information Systems Manager, and subsequently held the positions of Head of IT (Flow Control & Group Applications) and Divisional IT Director. Currently, they are the VP of Information Systems & Technology Transformation at The Weir Group PLC. Additionally, John has experience as a Web Developer at People Telecom from 2003 to 2005.

John Hailey completed their education history with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Strathclyde Business School. John pursued this degree from 2015 to 2019.

Prior to their MBA, John attained a MSc degree in Computer Aided Engineering Design from the University of Strathclyde. John was enrolled in this program for the academic year 2005 to 2006.

John began their academic journey by obtaining a BSc degree in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow. This degree was earned during their attendance from 1999 to 2003.

In addition to their formal education, John Hailey received certification as an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer from Oracle in April 2011.
