Jessica Hertz

Jessica Hertz currently serves as the General Counsel for the Biden-Harris Transition. During the Obama-Biden Administration, Hertz served as Principal Deputy Counsel in the Office of the Vice President, Special Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia, Counsel to the Deputy Attorney General in the Department of Justice, and Counselor to the Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) in the Office of Management and Budget. Hertz worked as a Director and Associate General Counsel for Facebook’s regulatory team and was a Partner at the law firm Jenner & Block. Originally from New York, Hertz is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Chicago Law School.
