Sean Twomey is an experienced professional in planned giving, currently serving as the Director of Planned Giving at The Wilderness Society since March 2014. In this role, Sean leads a dynamic planned giving program that encompasses marketing, stewardship, prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and estate administration. Prior to this position, Sean worked as a Gift Planning Specialist at The Wilderness Society and as a Planned Giving Associate at the Kitchener Waterloo Symphony Orchestra, where responsibilities included donor management and development writing. Sean holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Musicology from Western University, a Master of Arts in Musicology from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master of Music from The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University.
