Renee Malaro

Renee Malaro, MSN, RN, TCRN, has extensive experience in nursing and trauma management, currently serving as the Trauma Program Manager at The William W. Backus Hospital since June 2007. Previously held roles include Nurse Manager of Emergency Services and Clinical Coordinator of Emergency Services, where leadership, clinical practice, and patient advocacy were emphasized. Malaro's career also includes serving as a Case Manager and Emergency Department RN for the Connecticut Army National Guard from 2009 to November 2017. Education credentials include a Master’s degree in Nursing Management from the University of Hartford, an Associate’s degree in Nursing from CT State Three Rivers, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Eastern Connecticut State University.
