Thamara Subramanian is the Equity Audit & Strategy Manager at The Winters Group, Inc. Thamara has previous experience working as a Knowledge Analyst Temporary at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and as a Research Analyst at Initium Health. Thamara also interned at Kaiser Permanente as a Regional Health Education (RHE) Consulting Associate Intern. During their time at Kaiser Permanente, they developed recommendations for improving patient and provider experiences with fracture prevention medications and osteoporosis utilizing a human-centered design process. Thamara also created an assessment and evaluation framework for shared decision making tools across TPMG and recommendations for clinical integration. Lastly, they co-designed a wellness coaching training curriculum for insomnia and health sleep behaviors and led a training to TPMG Health Education Coaches.

Thamara Subramanian has a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in the field of health and social behavior with a focus on social determinants of health. Thamara also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in psychology from the University of Michigan with a minor in medical anthropology. In addition, they have certification from IDI, LLC as a qualified administrator and from the National Council for Behavioral Health as a mental health first aid certified provider. Thamara also has certification from Chicago Public Schools as a sexual health educator.
