Marisa Gutierrez Hoff is a seasoned professional in the fitness industry, currently serving as Partner and Director of Operations at The Empower Group since March 2013, where efforts focus on aiding fitness professionals in achieving business growth. Recognized as one of IHRSA’s Women Who Inspire in 2019, Marisa also holds the role of West Coast Ambassador for The Women in Fitness Association, advocating for the advancement of women in the fitness sector. Prior experience includes franchise ownership at Be Military Fit and various managerial positions at Stevenson Fitness, enhancing operational efficiency and profitability. Marisa began their career as a bilingual teacher at Will Rogers Learning Community after earning a Master's degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA.
