Kristin L. Dupeire, LCSW-S has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of social work. Kristin L. is currently working as the Chief Community Builder at The Women's Home since 2023. Prior to this, they served in various leadership roles at Legacy Community Health. From 2012 to 2023, they worked as the Vice President of Operations, Specialty Care, where they implemented strategies to improve operational aspects and maximize patient access. Kristin L. also served as the Senior Director of Behavioral Health from 2017 to 2023, overseeing the operational aspects of the Behavioral Health Service line and launching the first Virtual Legal Aid Clinic. Additionally, they were the Senior Director of Social Services from 2015 to 2017, managing and expanding the Social Service team and programs. Prior to their time at Legacy Community Health, they worked as the Director of Care Coordination in 2012. Kristin's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Medical Social Worker at Baylor College of Medicine and Baylor International Pediatric AIDS Initiative from 2003 to 2012.
Kristin L. Dupeire, LCSW-S, holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work, with a focus on Medical Social Work. Kristin L. also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Texas A&M University, specializing in Racial & Ethnic Minorities. In addition to their formal education, Kristin has obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional skills. Kristin L. has a Certificate with Distinction in Non-Profit Executive Leadership from Rice University, earned in 2021. Kristin has also completed a course in Accounting and Finance for Non-Financial Managers at the University of Houston in 2017. Currently, they are working towards completing a Certificate in Nonprofit Finance at Rice University, expected to be finished in May 2023. Furthermore, Kristin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor, certified by the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners.

The Women’s Home builds communities that strengthen women and support families as they reclaim their stability. Since our creation in 1957, we have fulfilled this mi3ssion by providing housing and supportive services to vulnerable women and families in the Houston area. Our programs serve women and families who are homeless or vulnerable to homelessness - many have histories of addiction, mental illness, and trauma. Through our long-term residential treatment program in Montrose and our affordable housing programs and our Mabee WholeLife® Service Center in Spring Branch, our clients cultivate the skills and self-esteem they need to overcome crisis, and live a healthy, resilient life.
