Ellie Simkhai

Ellie Simkhai has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and organizations. Ellie served as a Marketing Specialist at Spoon University, where they created engaging content for social media platforms and built relationships with local restaurants for social media promotion. At Dance Marathon at the University of Florida, Ellie was a Public Relations Captain, managing social media accounts and forming relationships with media sources. Ellie also worked as a Dancer and Fundraiser for the organization. As a member of The Women's Network, Ellie was part of the Marketing Committee, creating marketing materials and brainstorming ideas for raising awareness. In Delta Phi Epsilon at the University of Florida, they served on the Equity and Belonging Committee, promoting diversity and inclusion within the chapter and supporting philanthropy foundations. Ellie also participated in events hosted by other sororities and fraternities. At Study Edge, they worked as a Campus Ambassador, implementing marketing campaigns and providing feedback to improve marketing and operations departments. Ellie was a Unit Supervisor for Leaders-In-Training at Berkshire Hills Eisenberg Camp, developing a program to help future staff members grow in their roles. Ellie also served as an Assistant Unit Supervisor at the same camp, assisting in planning and executing activities, resolving staff issues, and providing leadership to campers. Ellie was an Ambassador for U Matter, We Care Ambassadors, raising awareness about mental health care and connecting students to resources on campus. Ellie Simkhai started their education at Herricks High School, where they pursued an Advanced Regents Diploma from 2017 to 2021. Following their high school education, they enrolled at the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business in 2021. Ellie is currently working towards a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing. In October 2022, they also obtained a certification as a Microsoft Office Specialist in Excel Associate from Microsoft.
