Katharine Kalap has a diverse work experience that includes roles in various industries. Katharine has worked as a Bike Mechanic at Princeton University, where they are currently employed. Katharine is also the Vice President of The Women's Network at Princeton University, where they oversee the establishment of a national women's networking organization on campus and is responsible for tasks such as delegation of workload, communication, leadership, social media engagement, organizing networking events, budgeting, and applying for grants.

In the past, Katharine worked as a Nanny at Athlete Nannies, providing part-time childcare and focusing on improving literacy skills for two young boys. Katharine also had an internship at STFC ASTeC, where they gained experience in 3D CAD modeling, Python programming, and assembly of accelerator tubes. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant Intern at Durham University, conducting data analysis and coding using Excel, MATLAB, and photolithography in a cleanroom setting. Furthermore, they gained valuable experience in the healthcare field by shadowing an Orthopaedic Surgeon at the NHS, where they learned patient interaction skills and gained exposure to various aspects of medical care in wards, clinics, and operating theaters.

Katharine Kalap started their education journey in 2016 at High School for Girls in Gloucester, where they completed their GCSEs. After that, they attended Hartpury University and Hartpury College from 2018 to 2020, completing their A-levels. In 2021, Katharine enrolled at Princeton University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Additionally, in October 2020, they obtained a DBS check certification from uCheck.
