Luis de Leon has a diverse range of work experience in the film and production industry. Luis started their career as a New York Production Coordinator for HSI Productions in 2001 and later became a Production Coordinator/Assistant for various freelance projects. In 2005, they co-founded The Molecule, a successful digital post-production and visual effects company, where they served as Co-Founder, CCO, and VFX Supervisor for eight years. During this time, they worked on numerous TV series and films. In 2009, they co-founded Covalent Productions, a digital production company, as a subsidiary of The Molecule. Luis was responsible for conceptualizing, bidding, and managing productions, as well as recruiting talent. In 2013, they worked as a Freelance Producer for The Other House, overseeing the production and animation for Puffy's new Revolt network. Luis also has extensive experience as a motion designer and creative director, working for Deutsch LA as a Lead Motion Designer and later as a Motion Design Director and Creative Director for Steelhead.TV. Luis'sfreelance work as a Director, Editor, and Writer has included acclaimed documentaries, short films, music videos, branded content, and commercials. Most recently, Luis joined The Wonderful Company in 2019 as the Director of Content, where they built and elevated their in-house content production and post-production department. In this role, they served as a creative director, director, and editor for various digital campaigns, documentaries, and social content for well-known brands such as Wonderful Pistachios, Halos Oranges, Justin Wines, and more.

Luis de Leon attended The George Washington University School of Business from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a focus on International Business. From 2015 to 2017, they attended The Bookshop School for Ads, where they studied Advertising Portfolio.
